ABOUT US
In April of 1974, James A. "Tony" Rowland left a career with an electrical engineering firm in Columbia, South Carolina to begin a new career in the generator business. Tony joined the new Kohler distributor for North and South Carolina - Carolina Power Systems, Inc. as their new Service Manager for both states. The spring of 1976 brought many exciting changes for Tony and his wife. They decided to move back to their hometown of Lincolnton, Georgia after the birth of their son, Jim, and begin a new company named J&T Service Center, Inc.
When the company was started, quality generator service was the main focal point and that continues to be their goal. J&T Service Center has grown to become one of the largest full service generator companies in the Southeast. Jim has also grown to become the Sales Manager for the company.
After 41 years in business, today our employees are our biggest asset. Some of our people are third generation employees. We have over 100 years combined experience in the standby generator business.
Our technicians are factory trained and certified in all the latest technology. We take pride in doing a job right the first time. And, we want to be Your generator company!
