Emergency Service Calls: J&T Service Center is committed to handling your emergency service calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If your emergency occurs during normal business hours

please call our main office at (706) 359-7164. Tell the receptionist that you are calling with a generator emergency and your call will be taken immediately. If your emergency occurs outside

of our normal business hours please call (706) 359-7165. Tell the answering service that you are

calling with a generator emergency – your call will be forwarded to our on-call technician and we

will contact you as quickly as we can.

The most common emergency service calls are; battery failure, low coolant level or temp alarms,

fuel, oil or coolant leaks, controls not in Auto, fuel bled back into the tank and generator will not

start, engine ran out of fuel, breaker trip not related to the generator, generator is running after

utility power is restored (normal cool-down period.) If your generator is getting proper and regular

maintenance and you understand the basic settings of your system you will know how to deal with

alarm conditions in the case of system failure. It is important that you understand the basic settings

of your system. This information will keep you from wasting valuable business time and money over

generator failure due to inaccurate settings or neglected maintenance.

Generator Start-Ups: Getting your new generator installed doesn't mean the project is

complete - getting the generator commissioned and started-up successfully does. J&T

Service Center offers full commissioning service to customers on most major name brand

generators. J&T technicians will professionally and efficiently perform all start-up activities

to verify that the generator works as designed and that clients have no surprises.

We offer startup commissioning to end users as well as generator distributors or dealers

who may have scheduling conflicts or do not have a technician in the area. Contact us with

details about your equipment manufacturer, specifications and site location and we will

confirm whether we are authorized to perform the start-up for you.

Load Bank Testing: J&T Service Center offers a load bank testing service as an

optional part of our commissioning and can be included in our Service & Maintenance

Contracts. Our on-site load bank testing is done utilizing portable resistive load banks.

The complete standby emergency system will be loaded incrementally up to its full power

rating. Detailed readings are recorded at each step to confirm the reaction of the
